Biography

Growing up in Hamburg and Berlin, Music was always my home.

My interest in music lies especially in songwriting: to write moving lyrics, that leave the listener feeling more understood and reflective around his/her/their personal lives. As a child, I took classical piano lessons, formed a singing trio with friends and sang in the school choir. In my youth, I sang and performed in a wide variety of bands - from the school big band to a punk band.

In order to professionalize my interests, I completed private vocal training in 2016 (“Powervoice”) as well as an state traineeship as a singer/songwriter in the field of pop music (Fanny Hensel Berlin Music School, 2020-2021). I also completed a vocal course at Berklee University ("Popular Singing Styles: Developing your Voice & Vocal Style"). And to work in music education for children I completed further training as a music teacher for elementary early musical education ("Lütte Skol", 2023).

Apart from my work as a musician, songwriter and music educator, I study social work at the Alice-Salmon University Berlin, with a focus on cultural education in social projects. This interest stems from my work as a singing, rap and songwriting teacher in various Berlin youth centers since 2018. There, I carried out several song projects with children and young people - to encourage them to write, perform and record their own music.
